Vegan MidWinter Christmas Potluck Dinner & Movie
Saturday, 21st June. Arrive from 3.30pm.
Bring something traditional, or something avant-garde, hot or cold, for one and all to enjoy. Variety makes dining fun. We can reheat or keep it warm until we serve, around 4.30pm.
Roast spuds, kumera, or carrots, a home made Roast, a warm winter soup, a broccoli salad, a trifle or a jelly, it's up to you, let your imagination work its wonders. As long as it is Vegan.
We will follow dinner and pudding with a break for tea and coffee, followed by a movie on the big screen.
Afterwards, for people wish to stay a little longer and partake, we'll have a discussion about how and what we can do to introduce the public of Levin, Horowhenua and perhaps Kapiti to animal rights and the Vegan point of view.
Things like street stalls, library displays, Cubes of Truth, promotion stands at cultural and rural events, etc.

In 2025~6 if you would like to host a vegan potluck dinner, a nibbles evening or a vegan bbq we'd love to hear from you, or if you have any suggestions for any form of vegan event : contact@vegan.kiwi.nz
From mid 2025 I intend showing vegan based documentaries and information videos on the large screen. Tea, coffee and cold spring water will be available, and perhaps fresh popcorn. Feel free to bring along home made or bought nibbles to share.
